Runaway doesn’t hang a bar chart next to your notch — it wraps it. The session fills as a glowing stroke around the physical cutout: down the left edge, under the lip, up the right. The unfilled remainder is invisible. Green cruising, amber to think, red when the window is about to bite.
Burn rate
A percentage is information; a projection is a decision. Runaway watches your pace over the last stretch of work and shows the number that actually matters — “at this rate you hit the limit in ~1h 40m.” Keep going or wrap up, before you commit to the next big run.
The tray
Glide the cursor over the notch and it opens downward: session and weekly bars with live reset countdowns, your burn projection, weekly pace, a six-hour sparkline, and the row power users asked for — which limit is binding right now, and whether overage is available past it. Move away and it tucks back into the bezel.
Agent Watch
Agent Watch hooks into Claude Code. When a session stops and waits on your input, the notch washes with colour, grows downward and names the project that’s asking — then tucks away. Miss it? A tiny LED stays lit on the notch edge: amber breathing while a session is blocked, steady green when a run finishes.
Signature moments
When the session window resets, a light rolls into takeoff — one pass along the notch outline, and the bar clears. Full tank. And if you do hit 100%, no drama: one slow red landing sweep, then a calm dimmed grounded mode, outline breathing, right wing counting down to wheels-up.
Threshold alerts
Not an alerting system — one native notification when you cross the threshold you chose (85% by default, two if you want a gentle then a firm one). Edge-triggered, so it fires once on the way up and then leaves you alone. The people who want this are the people who’ve been burned mid-migration.
